AquaBots

CyberKids Robotics is pleased to announce a new robotics program
for your students...AquaBots.

During the 2011 - 2012 school year, CyberKids Robotics will be teaching robotics teams to design, build and operate submersible robots.  Your students will learn basic skills in ship and submarine design and be introduced to the world of marine and ocean engineering concepts.  They will build and design submersible robots complete with underwater video cameras.  Their robot will complete underwater
missions and compete against other Aquabot teams in regional AquaBot competitions.

Our new AquaBot Program is very different from the LEGO robotics program.  The AquaBot submersible robots present your robotics team with an entirely different set of challenges.  Each team will construct their own custom submersible robot and then test their AquaBot against a series of underwater challenges.  At the end of the year, your AquaBot team will participate in a regional AquaBot Competition.

Some of the skills your students will learn through our AquaBots Program are:

  • Ship and submarine design
  • Buoyancy / Displacement
  • Propulsion
  • Waterproofing
  • Depth Measurement
  • Basic Physics of Motion
  • Electricity
  • Circuits & Switches

If you are interested in having your students participate in this exciting new

AquaBot Program, please send an e-mail to cyberkids@charter.net or call
